Election got you down?? All those negative ads and attacks? Sometimes we just need to do the best for ourselves in our worlds and get the positive energy and focus flowing.
I needed a “reset” yesterday morning. A good Monday Morning Ass-Kicking workout to remind me how lucky I am to be able to move the way I do. A sweat sesh to flood my body and mind with the happy adrenaline hormone. A total mind-body focused “ME TIME” hour to help me tap into my potential and goals and thoughts. You see, I do not focus on workouts and fitness as penance for eating decadent foods over the weekend, or to “burn calories”. I use my workouts as a doorway into a fresh frame of mind, a motivating accomplishment to start out a positive trajectory for the day, and as a therapy session to balance out the many obligations and the stress that being a working mother and all the other roles in life demand.
I know my sentiment can be appreciated by all. After all, we are all the same in one way or another.

Dynamic Warm Up Stretches and Drills
Circuit One: 4 rounds
Burpee with Push up 10
Full Body Snatch 5r/l
20 KB Swings
Cable or Dumbbell Chop 10 r/l
Run .25 mile of Treadmill as fast as i can tolerate
Circuit 2: 4 Rounds
Band Squat to Row or Reaching DB Row 10 or 10 r/l
Athletic Wide Squat to Tap – 15
Band Lunge To Press or Two Arm Press on Ball 10
Box Jumps 10
Row 1 M all out
Side Plank 1m r/l
