Between my pregnancies, I found myself with several pounds to lose and motivation to find the healthier more confident person that I had somehow lost along the way. I met with Jen and found her upbeat and approachable personality to be the missing key to my potential success. We came up with a healthy whole foods plan that was realistic and easy for me to follow. After 2 sessions and a 30 pound weight loss, people at work began to notice my results and inquiring what my “secret” was. The truth is there was no “secret” pill, or class or diet, what I had was a coach to hold me accountable, support me and make changes to our plan when necessary.
I continued on my journey to a healthier lifestyle with Jen but wanted to offer the same opportunity to those around me. Jen said she would be willing to meet with people at my workplace and formulate a plan that would help each individual reach their goal. A diverse group was quickly formed, consisting of people with weight to lose and those who were already in shape but wanted to target different fitness goals. Jen was able to create a plan that worked for each and every one of them. She would come to my workplace and meet with each person individually, supporting and making modifications to their food and fitness plans to reach maximum results.
Weeks went on and it was so exciting to hear the pounds lost, medical improvements to cholesterol levels and blood pressure, and fitness goals that people were obtaining with Jen’s program. It changed the dynamics of the workplace where people were sharing whole foods recipes and holding each other accountable during lunch breaks. Like any team working towards a common goal, it was a new level of comradery that was an unexpected result of these “individual” plans.
