To supplement my workout routine(s), Jen recently provided nutritional coaching and I could not be happier with the results. Mind Body Coaching
She has given me freedom around food and the ability to want to choose what nourishes my body. She’s helped shift my mindset around dieting. The way I’m eating now isn’t a diet and isn’t restrictive and guilt driven. I feel free and not consumed by what I “should” or “shouldn’t” eat. Jen is extremely encouraging and has helped lift me up through difficult life situations and has offered so much guidance on how to overcome challenges within myself. In-person training, classes, and virtual training
I used to go to the gym because I felt I had to, not because I enjoyed it. I did the usual cardio, spin class, tried the weight machines, but my fitness level was stagnant. Then a few of my friends and I tried Jen Zuba’s class at the gym. The music was great, the other participants were friendly and welcoming, and I felt energized at the end of class. Each exercise we did, she showed us different levels to see which one worked for your body that day. I was learning how to use weights correctly. I was laughing during class and having fun working out. I decided to participate in her Lifestyle Program and loved the results. I introduced both of my sons to Jen and they participate in her classes and her personal training with fantastic results. At the beginning of the pandemic, when the gyms were closed, Jen kept my family motivated by sending us workouts, hosting Zoom calls and doing Facebook live events. My workouts increased rather than stopped. After completing a workout with Jen, my anxiety levels decreased and I felt happier and more productive during the day. Her philosophy of listening to your body and adjusting workouts to fit your needs was exactly what I needed to hear. I push myself, but without causing injuries. I have signed up for Jen’s monthly membership program. Knowing I can reach her for questions and click on a link to video tutorials explaining how to properly do the exercise is one of the benefits of the program, as is receiving challenging workouts to enjoy when I can’t attend a class. At fifty-one years old, I feel stronger, healthier and happier than ever before. Exercising with my sons is wonderful quality time and I am grateful to be able to do so each and every day.~ Alisha

What a year it has been! A year that has been filled with ups and downs, happiness and sadness but most of all success. In turning 50, I decided it was time to truly make a difference, successfully this time. I joined Jen’s Lifestyle Program and her training classes and it was truly the best decision I could have made. Jen’s program has helped me truly become my best self. Jennifer Tedford Zuba’s Lifestyle Kickstart program 3 times over the last two years. Each time I have come away with tons of delicious, clean recipes and volumes of customized, challenging workouts that I can do at the gym, at home or on the road! But it is the knowledge and mental piece that has been the real difference maker. I used to judge food as good versus bad and restricted calories. Now I ask myself, “What nourishment does my body need to help me feel and train my best?” As a lifelong fitness nut I overtrained, rarely taking a day off and judging myself as lazy when I did. Now with Jen’s help I’m learning to listen to my body and give myself permission to take time for active recovery and rest. Overall I feel happier & less stressed. I’m enjoying being able to eat and not feel guilty, yet make strides in my health. I think this has helped balance me out. I literally went from one extreme (battling the scale to see how low I could to) to the other side so that I could get past the number issue I was having. Finally finding comfort in this body of mine and ready to take on 2018 and add exercise back in without using it to punish myself.
